At Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference, the company revealed a bunch of new information about their latest games. Gamers got to enjoy over an hour of new game trailers, world premiere announcements, and free content. In addition to big titles like The Elder Scrolls Blades and Doom Eternal, Bethesda unveiled a good deal of content for the hugely popular MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online. Players of the fantastic MMO should make sure they have pockets full of ESO Gold, as there are tons of new things to spend it on.

Bethesda earns an ESO gold medal at their E3 2019 press conference.

Partway through the E3 2019 press conference, a representative from Zenimax Studios came out on-stage to unleash the latest in Elder Scrolls Online news. In recent months, the game has seen a considerable influx of new players, eager to spend their ESO Gold on new items, weapons, and gear. The latest expansion, Elsweyr, has been performing well. We suggest that everyone gather up some ESO Gold and find yourself a ticket to the Khajiit region called Elsweyr because it’s tons of fun.

The Elder Scrolls Online will now have more dedicated server space, to ensure that players have a smooth and seamless experience. With millions of new players hopping aboard, it’s good to see that The Elder Scrolls Online should remain mostly lag-free. Before digging into the world premiere announcements, we got to see a brand new cinematic trailer that recaps some of the story players experienced in Elsweyr.

New dungeons come to ESO in the new DLC Scalebreaker.

Players can look forward to looting two new dungeons for hordes of ESO Gold in the new expansion, titled Scalebreaker. Planned for release in a few short months, this new downloadable content will take players to the Lair of Maarseelok and the Moongrave Fane. You should expect challenging bosses and winding paths in these exciting new dungeons.

A new zone and storyline show up in the Dragonhold DLC.

Towards the end of the year, Elder Scrolls Online fans can finish off the “Year of the Dragon” storyline with the final DLC of the season, Dragonhold. This downloadable content will focus on more quests and narrative content, offering a new explorable zone called Pellitine. Here, warriors will have to survive in a barren wasteland ruined by plague and famine as they attempt to reform the legendary Dragonguard.

The Dragonhold DLC marks the end of the Year of the Dragon, a narrative arc that started with the Wrathstone DLC earlier in the year. As players have traveled through the desert land of Elsweyr, they’ve fought dragons, uncovered lost relics, and even attended a colorful festival. As with all of Elder Scrolls Online, Elsweyr has offered countless hours of ESO Gold looting, questing, and player-versus-player combat. It’s an extensive game that is jam-packed with content, offering hundreds of hours of gameplay to enjoy. The new Dragonhold DLC will offer even more bosses, dungeons, and quests to complete, so players should keep an eye out for its release later this year.

What to do while you wait for more Elder Scrolls Online content

While we do have to wait a few months for Scalebreaker and even longer for Dragonhold, there are still plenty of things to do in Elder Scrolls Online to occupy your time. If you haven’t reached max character power, there’s no reason to slow down! If you haven’t experienced the joy of Elder Scrolls Online yet, there’s no better time to jump in than now.

While you patiently wait for the new content, don’t forget to log-in to the game for your daily rewards. These include Crown Experience Scrolls, bonus ESO Gold, and even some free downloadable content. Since Elsweyr released only a week ago, you’ve probably got tons of stuff left to do in the Northern Elsweyr zone. So get back on your mount, gear up, and go gather up some ESO Gold! You’ll need it when the new downloadable content releases later this year.
