Big day for Samsung; Galaxy event is happening in a few hours. As the invites rolled out for the October event two days after Apple’s keynote, we could not help but second guess what the company has in store for us.
We have had a good share of the leaks and rumors about the Galaxy S10, so are we still expecting more from the much-awaited phone expected to be released sometime next year?
Well, this might be the event where Samsung finally unveils the name it has finally decided to give to the new member of the series. Previous rumors and leaks revealed that the phone we are referring to as S10 is not what it is going to be called.
Koh Dong-jin, the company’s president said:
“Although Samsung will stick to Galaxy, we have been thinking about whether we need to maintain the S moniker or the numbering system,”

- AI-specific chipset, with CPU, GPU, and separate neural processor
- 5G modem
- UFS 3.0 storage
- LPDDR5 RAM
- 93 percent or more screen-to-body ratio
- 9th-generation mobile Super AMOLED display
- 3D AI processing with a camera
- L-shaped battery
It isn’t the only thing we are betting at for the Galaxy event. Samsung’s futuristic foldable phone has made people curious for quite a while now.
The company first released a video showing off a foldable phone and a tablet hybrid back in 2013 that took the internet by storm. It was the first time that the idea of a foldable phone or a tab was pitched in the market. The phone goes by the name of Samsung Galaxy X by the critics.
While Dj Koh, in an interview with CNBC, insinuated at the San Francisco Samsung Developer Conference happening in November as the event where the phone might be unveiled for the very first time, Samsung could make a revelation about it today.
All in all, what we have gathered from Samsung’s Blue’s clues is that whichever device they are going to announce today will have a better camera. Even the Ice Universe is betting on 4 cameras, in which order and place, we could not fathom.
