Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are finally available for purchase

Google Pixel 3 devices are finally out of the pre-order stage and are now available for purchase. Google officially announced Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in New York City on 9th October. The public had pretty much known about the devices before the announcement, thanks to leaks.

Major outlets have stocked the devices, but are soon running out of them. Even Google Store has notified potential customers that it will be out of stock for two weeks. This is similar to Google’s strategy that was used last year when Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were released.

The devices went on sale immediately after Google’s hardware event. The Google Pixel 3 starts at $799 for the 64 GB version, while the 128 GB version costs $899. Compare this to last year’s Pixel 2, which went on sale at $649 for the 64 GB version, and the 128 GB version cost $749.

Pixel 3 XL is starting at $899 for the 64GB variant and going all the way up to $999 for the 128GB model. Meanwhile last year’s Pixel 2 XL went for $849 for 64 GB version while the 128 GB version went for $949.

There is a significant price difference between Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 variants, but only a 50 dollar difference between Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 3 XL. Google also introduced a new pink color called the Not Pink color to this year’s lineup.
Vendors you can buy from right now:

• Target: Target lists Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones, but they are currently out of stock. Luckily, Target is offering a $150 gift card for anyone who buys the phone or activates it on Verizon’s network.
• Best Buy: If users will purchase either 64 GB or 128 GB version of the phones, Best Buy will give them a $100 gift card. The catch being, the phone has to be on Verizon’s network. The company isn’t selling unlocked Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices.
• Unlocked version: Google Store carries the unlocked versions of the phone which can be used on any device pretty easily.
• Verizon: Verizon is the only major carrier that is selling the 2018 Pixel devices. For a 2 year contract, the Pixel 3 phone will cost users $33.3 per month. Pixel 3 XL will cost users $38.7 per month for a 2-year contract.
