Google is bringing Android to cars!

Avatar Of Amnah Fawad Amnah Fawad September 18, 2018

Android for cars
App store and much more coming to your cars.
The tech giant Google has partnered with the kings of power vehicle makers Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance to bring Android to their cars.

Still can’t believe how?
According to the Wallstreet Journal, the companies will be working together to incorporate Android’s media in their car systems. The powerful car-making companies’ alliance sells cars more than they do individually. This alliance has gotten Google on board to pull off this amazing idea.
The plan is to make Google maps, even more, easier to use. Other than that, voice assistant and app store will also be added to the dashboard. This will allow the users to stay up-to-date using their car screens as mini iPads. The users will be able to download the apps they normally use on their phones. This way, they won’t miss out on an important email or a WhatsApp message.
Majority of the cars get too complicated when it comes to Google maps; People opt for using Google maps on their phones over the car because they are somehow made to believe that the car system is going to be technical. In order to ease the drivers and ensure safety, this integration seems just the right thing to do.
Set to launch in 2021, we are very excited about this venture that promises to offer nothing less than perfect!

It is like they are trying to make smart cars but with a different story. Yet this is for the fact I presume these cars are becoming Tesla 2

Yes. But they sure have a long way to go before they could even reach anywhere near Tesla, no?
